• Call Coverage: Yes, including ED stroke alerts 24/7 while on service
• Patient Population: Adult / Geriatric
• Average Daily Volume: 10-12 patients on the inpatient list, with additional consults as needed
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 days
• Travel Support: Airfare, lodging, and rental car reimbursements available

Job Requirements

• Board Certified Interventional Neurologist - required
• Active Ohio medical license - required
• BLS and ACLS certification - required
• 1-2 years of experience - required
• Ability to perform 24/7 neuroendovascular call and ED stroke call
• Experience with thrombectomy procedures and related neuroendovascular care
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
• Strong clinical judgment in high-acuity stroke and endovascular cases

Responsibilities

• Provide neuroendovascular coverage for inpatient and emergency department needs
• Respond promptly to ED stroke alerts and urgent neurovascular consults
• Evaluate patients and determine appropriateness for thrombectomy and other neuroendovascular interventions
• Manage 24/7 call responsibilities while on service
• Collaborate with the care team to support timely, high-quality stroke care
• Document care in Epic and maintain accurate clinical records
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and coordinated inpatient management
