This 495-bed inpatient facility operates as a Level III trauma center, providing emergency medical services to the regional patient population in Virginia. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery across day and night shift coverage periods. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts.

Virginia offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including natural landmarks such as Humpback Rocks, Crabtree Falls, and Natural Bridge, as well as historic sites including Manassas National Battlefield Park and George Washington's Mount Vernon. Clinicians on assignment may also explore destinations such as Great Falls Park, Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, and the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Shopping centers, free museums, and biking and hiking trails are available throughout the state, alongside additional points of interest documented across the region.

The Emergency Medicine Physician Associate will provide inpatient clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site Level III trauma center in Virginia. Available shift times are 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency presentations while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment, and board certification is negotiable.
