This 495-bed inpatient facility operates as a Level III trauma center, providing emergency medical services to the regional patient population in Virginia. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery across day and night shift coverage periods. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts.

Virginia offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including natural landmarks such as Shenandoah National Park, Natural Bridge, and Sandbridge Beach, as well as historical sites including Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement, and Mount Vernon. Clinicians on assignment may also explore Luray Caverns, the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, and Busch Gardens Williamsburg, along with outdoor activities such as kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Northern Virginia provides additional options, including Great Falls Park, Manassas National Battlefield Park, and the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner will provide inpatient clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site Level III trauma center in Virginia. Available shift times are 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency presentations while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment, and board certification is negotiable.
