Requirements Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Service Line: Emergency Medicine (EM) Position Title: Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Facility: Piedmont Macon North – Emergency Department Location: Macon, Georgia Requirements Nurse Practitioner Education Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensure & Certification Active and unrestricted Georgia RN and NP licenses DEA registration with Georgia address Board Certified through AANP or ANCC Physician Assistant Education Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Licensure & Certification Active and unrestricted Georgia PA license DEA registration with Georgia address NCCPA Certification Required Credentials (NP & PA) ACLS PALS ATLS (Trauma course accepted in lieu of ATLS) TB screening documentation Flu vaccination (in season) Clinical activity/case logs covering the past 2 years CME/CEU summary or certificates for the past 2 years Malpractice insurance coverage: $100,000/$300,000 Additional Information Clinical experience requirement: To be determined Facility-specific procedures: To be determined Sponsoring physician name required for application submission Preferred Skills Emergency Medicine experience preferred Strong clinical decision-making skills Ability to manage a broad spectrum of acute and emergent conditions Effective communication and teamwork skills Location: Macon, GA Specialty: Emergency Medicine Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Contract (as applicable) Interested candidates should submit current CV, certifications, case logs, CME documentation, and licensure information for consideration.
