• Schedule: Daily rounding with 24-hour call coverage
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts

• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Average Patients Per Day: 2-4, with potential for more depending on sign-out volume
• EMR: Epic
• Call Coverage: Yes, including in-house and beeper/phone call

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Active Ohio medical license required
• ACLS certification required
• DEA registration required
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
• Must be available for the requested coverage dates
• At least 1 year of vascular surgery experience preferred
• Experience with adult inpatient vascular care and emergency surgical management

Responsibilities

• Provide daily rounding and 24-hour call coverage for vascular surgery patients
• Manage post-operative care for a wide range of vascular surgery cases
• Perform emergency surgery when clinically indicated
• Respond to consults and referrals from the ED and other hospital providers
• Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in Epic
• Support the continuity of care for a busy inpatient vascular service
