Emergency Medicine Physician Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Recent emergency medicine experience preferred; physicians at any level of recent experience are encouraged to apply
• Comfortable working in a high-volume emergency department
• Available to work nights and weekends
• Familiarity with Allscripts EMR preferred
• Temporary privileges available
• Case logs required; details to be confirmed during credentialing

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care for a diverse patient population
• Evaluate and manage approximately 80 patients per day in a busy ED setting
• Deliver care in a Level III trauma environment
• Collaborate with a robust team of APPs and support staff
• Document and manage patient encounters accurately within the EMR system
• Participate in a shadow day and EMR training when needed
• Work efficiently and collaboratively to support quality patient care during overnight and weekend coverage
