- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Additional Shift Requirement: 1 x 24-hour OB weekend shift each month
- Case Mix: Primarily OB anesthesia, with some general surgery cases
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60-90 days
- Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete
CRNA Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Active Texas CRNA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Ability to place epidurals required
- Experience with OB anesthesia strongly preferred
- Comfortable working under medical direction
- Meditech experience preferred
- Must provide availability, schedule preferences, and call information during submission
CRNA Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for OB and select general surgery cases
- Perform epidurals and other anesthesia procedures as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and perioperative care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient monitoring throughout care
- Support scheduled day shifts and monthly 24-hour OB weekend coverage
- Work confidently in a busy clinical environment while keeping a patient-focused approach
- Contribute to efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
