About the Position

Inpatient Psychiatry Physician | Arizona

Location: Arizona

Schedule: 12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with overnight call required for approximately 50 percent of days worked. Coverage includes September 16 to September 19, 2026; September 24 to September 27, 2026; October 9 to October 11, 2026; and November 23 to November 29, 2026.

Position Overview

• Inpatient psychiatry coverage on an adult and adolescent unit.
• Provider will work alongside additional physicians on shift (team based coverage).

Clinical Details

• Setting: Inpatient psychiatry.
• Patient population: ages 13 and older.
• Unit composition: adult and adolescent.
• EMR: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible Psychiatrist.
• Active state license in Arizona (or eligibility per compact and client requirements).
• DEA required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing

• Credentialing timeline is typically about 30 days (site dependent).
