Occupational Medicine Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) | Texas

Location: Texas

Schedule: Day shift coverage needed on August 18 to August 21, 2026; August 24, 2026; August 28, 2026; and August 31, 2026. Hours 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Position Overview

• Occupational medicine clinic coverage including DOT physicals, work related injury care, and related services.
• Typical patient volume is approximately 10 to 20 patients per day.

Clinical Scope

• Adults only (18 plus).
• Scope includes DOT physicals, hazard physicals, and respiratory physicals.
• EMR: Paper charting.

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with occupational medicine or urgent care background.
• Active state license in Texas.
• BLS required.
• DEA required.
• DOT certification required.
• Texas DWC Level I accreditation required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Travel and Lodging

• This is a local only assignment. Travel and lodging are not provided.

Onboarding

• Credentialing and onboarding timeframe is typically 1 to 3 days (clean file dependent).
