Ongoing · What’s the schedule? Weekends amp nights 7p-7a. o Are there specific dates needed? No o If call is involved what is call volume? How often do they get called back on-site? No call o Call/Rotation schedule? · Will they take an APP or SFA when applicable? Yes · Who should be the timesheet approver each week? Trevor Eide Regional Chief of EM · What are expectations for orientation? ie shadow day? EMR training? Shadow day and EMR training needed unless familiar with EMR Allscripts EMR Candidate Parameters · Any specific fellowships/ certifications/ procedures/ competencies we are looking for? Must be EM Boarded · Experience level? No specific experience level needed for physicians. APPs should have at least 1 year of EM experience Credentialing questions: · Will emergency privileges be an option? Temp privileges are an options · Are case logs needed? If so what are the requirements? Yes unknown Hospital/unit questions · Daily ED Volume: 80 patients per day · Are there any consults and if so how many per day? · What’s the patient population? · Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity? Level 3 trauma · What does the support staff look like? 27 hours of APP coverage daily · How will follow up cases be handled? when applicable- inpatient or outpatient
