Position Highlights

  • Full-time schedule of 80 hours bi-weekly
  • Time-and-a-half pay for hours worked beyond 80 hours per pay period

Multiple shift options available, including:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • 10-hour shifts
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 16-hour OR shifts
  • 24-hour trauma shifts
  • Minimal call responsibilities:
  • No traditional call
  • Approximately 4–5 evening (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) shifts annually
  • One weekend shift per month
  • Professional development opportunities, including mentoring Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists

Case Mix: Enjoy a diverse and stimulating practice with exposure to: General Surgery, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Spine, Vascular, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Robotics and Gastroenterology.

Annual Volume: Approximately 12,000 surgical cases annually across two sites. More than 700 cardiac procedures are performed each year.


Qualifications:

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Board Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Active Florida APRN license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • ATLS certification required for providers participating on the trauma team
