This hospital-based facility maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support interventional cardiology services on an on-site, inpatient basis. The facility is structured to accommodate 24-hour weekend call coverage, including STEMI call response, with NP support available during rounds. Clinical operations are configured to ensure continuity of cardiac care delivery across assigned weekend coverage periods.

Tennessee offers clinicians on assignment a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to varied interests. The state provides access to scenic natural landscapes, outdoor recreation opportunities, and year-round regional attractions. Clinicians may also explore historic areas, live music venues, and cultural destinations among the many activities available throughout the state.

The clinician will provide 24-hour weekend call coverage on an inpatient basis, with coverage beginning Friday at 5:00 PM or Saturday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM. Responsibilities include STEMI call response and performing 1-2 interventional cardiology procedures per day as credentialed by the facility. A nurse practitioner rounds alongside the clinician to support clinical operations throughout each coverage period. This assignment requires 1 to 2 weekends per month on an ongoing basis.
