This facility operates as a Level 3 trauma center, maintaining established surgical and emergency capabilities to support comprehensive otolaryngology care. The institution utilizes the EPIC EMR system to support clinical documentation and provides support staff including anesthesiologists and midlevels. The facility is positioned to deliver quality ENT and trauma surgical services throughout the assignment.

South Carolina offers a range of outdoor and water-based activities suited to diverse interests, including beaches, golf courses, hiking and biking trails, and equestrian options. Water sports are well represented, with opportunities for kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, fishing charters, and dolphin watching tours. Clinicians on assignment in South Carolina will also find sightseeing options such as walking tours, boat cruises, and visits to natural areas like Congaree National Park.

The ENT physician will provide 24-hour shift coverage for otolaryngology surgical services in an operating room setting, with beeper call required. Responsibilities include performing ENT and trauma surgery procedures as needed throughout the coverage period. All clinical documentation must be completed through the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Otolaryngology is required for this locum tenens assignment.
