This hospital in northeastern Georgia provides inpatient neuroradiology services with an established clinical team that includes full-time and part-time physicians, junior faculty, and APPs. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR for clinical documentation and maintains the infrastructure necessary to support on-site neuroradiology coverage. Locum clinicians are expected to contribute to the supervision of residents and fellows as part of the standard coverage model.

The Blue Ridge region in the north features mountain landscapes with opportunities for whitewater rafting, trout fishing, hiking, and scenic railway rides. Coastal areas, state parks, and urban destinations such as Savannah and Atlanta further contribute to the variety of year-round recreational and cultural experiences available throughout Georgia.

The neuroradiologist will provide on-site coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, interpreting 50-70 neuroradiology cases per day consisting of inpatient and ED studies for adult patients. Responsibilities include performing fluoroscopically guided lumbar punctures and myelograms, with a daily procedural volume of 0-5 cases. The clinician will supervise residents and fellows throughout the assignment and must complete all clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Neuroradiology, an active Georgia medical license, and BLS certification are required for this position.
