Requirements On-call, ED consult, and urgent OR demands. Approve temporary locum Acute Care Surgeon to maintain continuous coverage while recruiting for a permanent hire. On-Call- less than 30 minutes - Most of this is in-house based on volume during the day and trauma by beeper at night This is a 24/7 position, each shift is 24 hours, we provide 24/7 coverage for acute care surgery and this team runs all trauma calls. Census can be over 30 per day, and any acute care surgical cases. Immediate need for locum Acute Care Surgeon coverage due to current staffing gap impacting 24/7 call coverage and patient access. "
