About the Position

A community-focused Emergency Department in Cleveland, Texas is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency care in a collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergency medical conditions

• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice

• Stabilize critically ill and injured patients

• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations

• Collaborate with consulting specialists and hospital staff to coordinate patient care

• Document patient encounters accurately using the electronic medical record

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based emergency care in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)

• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure

• Current DEA registration

• ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required
