About the Position

Anesthesiologist | New York

Location: New York

Schedule: Ten hour day shifts (7:00 AM start). Weekend in house call coverage may be required.

Openings: 4

Position Overview

• Hospital based anesthesia coverage in a mixed model (medical direction and solo coverage as scheduled).
• Case mix may include general, orthopedics, endoscopy, and other site specific cases.

Clinical Details

• Supervision model: combination of supervision and solo coverage (site specific).
• No pediatric cases (site specific).
• Charting: paper (site specific).

Required Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible anesthesiologist.
• Active state license in New York.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required (AHA required as applicable).
• DEA required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing

• Credentialing timeline is typically about 30 days (site dependent).
• Emergency or accelerated privileges may be available for urgent needs (clean file dependent).
