About the Position

Anesthesiologist

Location: New York
Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime may be offered as outlined in the order details.

Position Overview
Provide anesthesiology coverage in an ambulatory surgery center setting in a medical direction model. This role requires comfort with supervision and regional skills, and cross credentialing at an additional site may be required as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

• Medical direction model with supervision ratio typically 1 to 4
• MDs supervising CRNAs; MDs not doing their own cases as outlined in the order details
• Case mix includes general and orthopedic cases
• Regional skills including blocks are preferred
• Operating rooms: 8 anesthesia rooms
• Charting system as outlined in the order details

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Active New York medical license required to present
• Ability to work in a medical direction model and provide supervision
• Providers must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Credentialing

• Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 14 days

Travel and Lodging

• Travel support is available as outlined in the order details
