About the Position

Anesthesiologist

Location: Pennsylvania
Schedule: Day shift coverage with multiple shift length options, including 8 hour, 10 hour, and 24 hour coverage blocks, with weeknight and weekend pager call required as outlined in the order details

Position Overview
Provide anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting in a medical direction model. This role includes a broad surgical case mix with orthopedic volume and requires board certification as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

• Medical direction model with supervision ratio up to 1 to 4
• Case mix includes general and orthopedic cases plus additional services as outlined in the order details
• No cardiac cases and no head cases as outlined in the order details
• EMR: Epic
• Number of anesthesia rooms: 6
• Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required to present
• Completion of an approved anesthesia residency

Additional Requirements

• Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite
• Not accepting candidates needing to obtain a new state license as outlined in the order details

Credentialing

• Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 90 days
