About the Position

CRNA

Location: Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Regular hours required. No call.

Position Overview
Provide CRNA coverage in a hospital setting in a care team model with physician supervision as outlined in the order details. This role includes a broad case mix and requires the ability to perform clinical interventions as needed.

Clinical Scope

• Care team model with MD supervision
• CRNA to MD ratio: 4 to 1
• MDs may do their own cases as outlined in the order details
• Case mix includes general, cardiac, neuro, and orthopedics
• Site charting systems include Epic and additional anesthesia documentation systems as outlined in the order details
• Number of anesthesia rooms: 11
• Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, obtaining and verifying consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Active Pennsylvania license required to present

Additional Requirements

• Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Credentialing

• Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 75 days

Incentives and Selling Points

• Completion bonus: $20,000 after 13 weeks and 520 hours worked, as outlined in the order details
