About the Position

Anesthesiologist | New York

Location: New York

Schedule: Four or five days per week, 8 or 10 hour shifts. On call and weekend coverage required.

Position Overview

• Hospital based anesthesia coverage with on call and weekend responsibilities.
• Case mix may include general anesthesia and other site specific cases.

Clinical Details

• EMR: Epic.

Required Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible anesthesiologist.
• Active state license in New York.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required (AHA required as applicable).
• DEA required.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Travel and Lodging

• Travel and lodging support may be available.

Credentialing

• Credentialing and privileging timeline is typically 90 to 120 days (site dependent).
• Emergency or accelerated privileges may be available for urgent needs (clean file dependent).
