About the Position

Anesthesiologist (Cardiac)

Location: Florida
Schedule: Day shifts with in house call coverage required. 8 hour and 10 hour shifts required and 12 hour shifts preferred. Weeknight and weekend pager call preferred. Holiday shift and holiday call preferred as outlined in the order details.

Position Overview
Provide cardiac anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting. This role requires cardiac fellowship training and includes a mix of cardiac and general anesthesia coverage with a medical direction model as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

• Cardiac fellowship training required
• Case mix includes cardiac and general cases
• Medical direction model with MD supervision of CRNAs
• Supervision ratios: 1 to 3 and 1 to 4 as outlined in the order details
• MDs may do their own cases as outlined in the order details
• Number of anesthesia rooms: 16
• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certification or fellowship required as outlined in the order details
• Completion of an approved anesthesia residency
• Active Florida medical license required to present
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Credentialing

• Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 30 days
• Emergency accelerated privileges may be available under 30 days for qualified candidates as outlined in the order details

Travel and Lodging

• Travel and lodging support is available as outlined in the order details
