About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for an 85-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Connecticut. This position starts Sep 7, 2026, and involves full-time daily shifts, with responsibilities including signing orders, prescribing chemotherapy, and managing complex cases related to hematological malignancies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Sign orders
- Comfortably prescribe chemotherapy
- Manage cases involving Lymphoma, Myeloma, Leukemia, and Acute Leukemia
- Perform Bone Marrow biopsies (preferred but not mandatory)
- Possess Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) knowledge
- Care for very sick patients
