About the Position

We are actively seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 42-day assignment in Michigan, beginning Aug 17, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday (8 AM - 5 PM) schedule, where you will manage a variety of emergency cases, interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and coordinate comprehensive patient care in a community hospital setting with approximately 45 visits per day.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care in a hospital setting.
  • Manage approximately 45 patient visits per day.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, adhering to evidence-based pediatric guidelines where applicable.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists, therapists, and community resources.
  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient experiences.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with medical staff bylaws and organizational policies.
