Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced, Emergency Medicine residency-trained physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Amarillo, Texas.

This is an opportunity to practice meaningful, high-acuity Emergency Medicine within a major regional hospital serving communities throughout the Texas Panhandle and surrounding tri-state area. Physicians manage a broad spectrum of medical, surgical, pediatric, and trauma presentations within a well-resourced department supported by substantial physician and APP coverage, dedicated scribes, advanced diagnostics, and comprehensive specialty consultation.
With day, swing, and night shifts available—and approximately 30 shifts requiring coverage each month—this assignment offers both significant scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to establish a consistent long-term practice.

  • MD or DO
  • Emergency Medicine residency trained

  • Current ACLS
  • Current PALS
  • One or more years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
  • Comfortable supervising and collaborating with APPs
  • Available for a combination of day, swing, or night coverage
