Open ICU • Level IV Trauma Center • Cerner EMR

Rhino Medical is seeking a hospitalist physician for an ongoing locum tenens position supporting a 139-bed acute care hospital in Bullhead City, AZ. The role involves inpatient care, admissions, and patient encounters across multiple specialties within a Level IV trauma environment. Providers will work a 7 on/7 off block schedule covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

This opportunity offers a balanced schedule with consistent shifts, utilizing Cerner EMR technology, and serving a community near the Colorado River, approximately 90 minutes from Las Vegas. Candidates with active Arizona medical licensure, DEA registration, BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and ACLS or ATLS certification are preferred. At least one year of hospitalist experience is recommended to succeed in this setting.

Practice Environment
This community hospital functions as a major referral center providing a broad spectrum of specialty care including cardiology, anesthesiology, critical care, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, hematology/oncology, interventional cardiology, nephrology, neurology (tele), oral/maxillofacial surgery, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, pain management, podiatry, radiology, rheumatology, and urology. Providers will practice within a modern setting supported by Cerner EMR, with a focus on inpatient admissions and patient encounters. Reading own EKGs is recommended but not required.

Requirements

• Active Arizona medical license
• DEA registration in Arizona
• BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• ACLS or ATLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of hospitalist experience preferred
• EMR: Cerner familiarity advantageous
