About the Position

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician (MD/DO) | Illinois

Schedule: Ongoing day shifts M-F August and September

Openings: 1

Position Overview

• Outpatient primary care and acute care for corporate health  serving employees and eligible family members.
• Focus on wellness and prevention, acute episodic care, and chronic condition management.
• Typical patient volume up to approximately 3 patients per hour.
• Ages seen: 3 and up

Clinical Scope

• Primary care evaluations and follow up care.
• Work related injury evaluation and treatment, including return to work and fit for duty determinations.
• Occupational health services such as pre employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, and occupational testing as applicable.
• Procedures may include suturing and laceration repair, splinting, and minor fracture care, as applicable.
• No pain management.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois license in the applicable discipline (NP, PA, or MD/DO).
• DEA registration required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
• NP and PA: nationally certified.
• MD/DO: board eligible or board certified.
• Strong background in walk in health centers and pediatrics is preferred.

Systems and Training

• EMR: Athena experience preferred, not required.
• Paid shadow training is preferred prior to working.
• OSHA and HIPAA trainings must be completed before start.
