About the Position

Pediatric Dentist | Florida

Schedule
Start: ASAP
End: Ongoing
Shifts: 5 to 10 shifts per month
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Scheduling note: Client schedules approximately 30 days in advance
Openings: 1

Position Overview
Provide pediatric focused dental coverage across multiple nearby outpatient clinic locations as scheduled.

Clinical Scope

• Crowns
• Fillings
• Sealants
• Preventative and restorative care
• Case mix noted as approximately 60 percent hygiene and 40 percent restorative

Patient Population and Volume

• Ages 2 and older
• Fast paced setting with approximately 40 to 60 patients per day referenced

Site Details

• Provider will work as part of a multi provider team
• Hygienists and dental assistants on site
• Provider will work at one location per day and float across three locations as scheduled
• Credentialing timeframe noted as 1 to 2 weeks if enrolled in Florida Medicaid

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida dental license
• Pediatric or general dentistry experience with pediatric patients
• Florida Medicaid enrollment required
• CPR certification required (PALS if doing sedation as applicable by site)
