About the Position
We are actively seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician in MS for a 15-day assignment commencing Oct 26, 2026. Our client requires coverage for 12-hour shifts, focusing on a diverse caseload of clinic patients within an emergency department. The Physician will be responsible for managing common conditions and performing procedures like intubation, chest tubes, and central lines when necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a diverse caseload encompassing both emergency room presentations and general clinic patients.
- Address common conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and wound care.
- Perform intubation, chest tube insertion, and central line placement as required.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine.
- EMR: Cerner.
- The facility operates as a non-trauma center emergency department.
- Experience with a low volume of obstetrical cases is beneficial.
