• Average Daily Volume: 2-6 deliveries per month; 2-4 GYN emergencies per month
• Case Mix: OB/GYN, including deliveries, C-sections, laparoscopic GYN emergencies, D&C

• EMR System: Meditech, eClinical Works
• Specialty Backup Available: General Surgery
• Support Staff Available: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 2 to 4 weeks

• Vaginal delivery
• Cesarean section
• Laparoscopic skills for typical GYN emergency coverage
• Dilation and curettage (D&C)

• Board: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ACOG or ABOG)

• Provide OB/GYN coverage including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and GYN emergencies
• Perform laparoscopic procedures and dilation and curettage (D&C) as needed
• Take 24-hour pager call, remaining within 30 minutes of the hospital
• Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and General Surgery backup
• Manage low-volume department with approximately 2-6 deliveries and 2-4 GYN emergencies per month
