Locums Hematology and Oncology Physician in Salinas, California - Four-Day Workweek, Long-Term Assignment

Enjoy a flexible full-time schedule with the option for a four-day workweek while building continuity with an established patient panel. This outpatient-focused assignment combines clinic care with low-volume phone call and strong APP support.

Practice & Cases

• Adult Hematology and Oncology with outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
• Broad oncology diagnoses and hematology consultative care
• Patient volume ramps from approximately 10 to 18 patients per day
• No procedures required

Schedule

• Option of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
• 40-hour workweek with 36 patient care hours and 4 administrative hours
• 24-hour call on a 1:4 rotation
• Tuesday through Friday schedule preferred

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active California medical license required
• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology or Board Eligible within 5 years
• BLS required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided
• Travel accommodations available for eligible assignments
