About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Anesthetist for a 60-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Sep 1, 2026. This role involves daily shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:00 PM, providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a diverse range of cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatrics ENT, and Robotics. The Anesthetist will not be responsible for performing spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, or fiber optics; these procedures will be handled by the MDA.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia for General Surgery, Obstetrics and C Sections, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatrics ENT for patients aged 2+, and Robotics cases.
• Adhere strictly to the scope of practice; spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, and fiber optics are to be performed by the MDA.
• Must be capable of performing at all seven GCM sites if assigned to the bullpen.
