• 24-hour shifts -- 7 consecutive days per month or split days
• 1 week of call per month
• Avg 2 consults per day -- rounding included
• Hospital-based general surgery setting
• EMR: Epic
• Emergency general surgery, trauma, and endoscopy procedures required
• Ongoing coverage available
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
