Job Requirements

• Board-eligible or board-certified physician in Cardiology
• Current Utah medical license required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional cardiology and general cardiology coverage
• Proficiency with echocardiography, including TEE
• Ability to interpret ECGs and transthoracic echocardiograms
• Experience with cardiac stress tests, cardioversions, coronary intervention, temporary pacing leads, and IABP management
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, high-acuity hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general cardiology and interventional cardiology consultative services
• Read transthoracic echocardiograms and ECGs accurately and efficiently
• Perform TEEs and cardiac stress tests as needed
• Deliver cardiology consultations and follow-up care for hospitalized patients
• Manage heart catheterization, coronary intervention, temporary pacing leads, and IABP support
• Complete cardioversions and respond to interventional cardiology call needs
• Take calls from transfer and answering services
• Collaborate with a 24/7 support team to provide timely, high-quality patient care
