Requirements Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital located in Englewood FL. Qualified physician candidates must be: Must be ABEM Site Directors will phone interview potential locum providers and answer any questions at that time Must be BC in ABEM or AOBEM Locum need is for equivalent of 2 FTE's Locum providers must be flexible to work days nights and weekends Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts affiliated FSED's require 12hr shiftsState of the art modern emergency department design complete renovation with expansion March 202218-bed EDAnnual ED Volume: 20000Physician Coverage Daily: 24 hours 12-hour shiftsAPP Coverage Daily: during peak timesMeditech P-doc EMR amp M-Modal DictationAHCA Primary Stroke Center DesignationPhlebotomy to the ED during surges difficult sticks or sepsis/stroke alertsMRI CT scan X-ray UltrasoundACLS ED Volume 60 patients a day down to low 50s in summer. Goes up to 70 patients a day Jan-March APP: Currently 9am-9pm 10am-8am summer Jan- March: 9am-9pm Noon-10pm ED Provider shifts 7pm-7amGeneral CommentsMust guarantee minimum 6-8 shifts per month Must be willing to work at FSED's associated with main facility
