This 974-bed tertiary hospital operates as a JCAHO-accredited Level 1 Trauma Center and functions as part of an established health system. The facility maintains 24/7 inpatient neurosurgical support with an established team of 9 Neurosurgeons and 9 APPs. Clinical infrastructure and protocols are in place to support continuous inpatient neurosurgical coverage across all assigned shifts.

The state provides year-round opportunities for exploration, with diverse environments spanning coastal areas, mountain regions, and urban centers. Clinicians on assignment will find accessible dining, shopping, and entertainment options throughout the region.

The nurse practitioner will provide night shift inpatient neurosurgical coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a one week on, one week off schedule, beginning January 2027 at a JCAHO-accredited, 974-bed tertiary hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Clinical responsibilities include managing admissions, discharges, consultations, and OR first assist as desired; discharges at night are not typical but remain a possibility. The clinician will work alongside an established team of 9 Neurosurgeons and 9 APPs providing 24/7 inpatient support. Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association are required, and the candidate must report for orientation the day prior to the first shift.
