This hospital in Eastern Kentucky operates as a Level 4 trauma center and provides interventional cardiology services on an on-site, inpatient basis. The facility utilizes Meditech for clinical documentation and maintains the resources necessary to support 24-hour cardiac call coverage, including available anesthesia support. Locum tenens coverage is sought to address a staffing vacancy across multiple defined coverage periods.

Kentucky offers clinicians on assignment a range of regional attractions suited to diverse interests. Clinicians may explore a variety of activities and local amenities during their time in the area.

The interventional cardiologist will provide 24-hour call coverage on a shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with responsibilities including inpatient consult rounding and performing procedures such as stenting as deemed necessary. This is a call-only position with no outpatient responsibilities; clinicians will not be required to admit patients. Anesthesia support is available on site. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required, and new clinicians must arrive one day prior to the start of the first assignment block for orientation.
