About the Position

An established and respected hospitalist group is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its overnight hospital medicine team as a Nocturnist NP in an Oklahoma City Suburb. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of highly skilled providers dedicated to delivering exceptional inpatient care.

The ideal candidate will have prior hospitalist experience and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nocturnist coverage for hospitalized adult patients during overnight shifts
  • Evaluate, assess, and manage acute care patients in the inpatient setting
  • Coordinate and facilitate admissions and inpatient consultations as needed
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Ensure continuity of care and timely clinical decision-making throughout the shift
  • Respond to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate clinical interventions

Schedule
  • Full-time position
  • 7-on / 7-off rotation
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation of $720-$850 per shift based on experience
  • Annual earnings approximately $150,000-$160,000

Qualifications
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification required
  • Prior experience as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner required
