About the Position

Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner

Location: South Carolina
Schedule: 10 hour or 12 hour day shifts with one weeknight call and one weekend day per call week, as outlined in the order details

Position Overview
Provide neurosurgery advanced practice coverage in an inpatient and acute care setting. This role supports clinic and inpatient care, with rounding prior to clinic and procedural support as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

• Adult patient population
• Practice setting includes clinic and inpatient coverage
• Procedural support may include diagnostic and therapeutic taps, suturing, complex wound care, lumbar puncture, lumbar drain, ICP monitor placement, and other neurosurgical procedural support as outlined in the order details
• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner
• Neurosurgery board certification requirement as outlined in the order details
• Active South Carolina license
• Clean background required

Credentialing

• Credentialing timeframe is typically 60 to 90 days

Travel

• Travel is supported as outlined in the order details
