About the Position

We are seeking a Locums Hospital Medicine Physician to provide inpatient coverage in Fort Pierce, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative hospital medicine team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult hospitalized patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Perform comprehensive admissions, daily rounds, consultations, and discharge planning.

• Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services.

• Respond to changes in patient condition and provide timely medical management.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain.

• Current DEA registration.

• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

• Previous hospitalist experience preferred.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
