About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for an exciting 90-day locum tenens assignment in SC, commencing Aug 3, 2026. This role involves administering general anesthesia, specifically with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting, and collaborating with surgical and dental teams. Shifts are typically 6:30 AM-3 PM, offering a consistent schedule.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
- Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
- Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
