About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for our client for an exciting 60-day locum tenens assignment in Washington, starting Aug 10, 2026. This full-time role involves working Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour for lunch, providing 40 hours of patient care weekly. The Physician will deliver comprehensive family medicine, manage chronic diseases, and offer walk-in/acute care, with a focus on serving vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees, performing various in-office procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive family medicine and outpatient ambulatory services.
  • Manage walk-in and acute care patients.
  • Deliver chronic disease management.
  • Care for same-day walk-in patients as needed.
  • Serve diverse and vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, utilizing on-site interpretive services.
  • Perform various in-office procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.


Additional Information

  • Required: Board certification in Family Medicine.
  • Experience with vulnerable populations is highly valued.
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system is necessary.
  • Bilingual ability is considered a strong asset.
