About the Clinician's Workday

This inpatient locum tenens position requires general cardiology coverage during weekend night shifts, with Friday through Sunday evening shifts preferred. The cardiologist will provide in-house night call coverage for Cardiac ICU admissions and management, including STEMI, unstable VT, VF, and cardiogenic shock, with Interventional, EP, and Heart Failure teams available as home back-up. Clinicians must hold board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and demonstrate proficiency in ECG and echocardiogram reading; an active North Carolina license and DEA are required. An APP will support the clinician on all shifts throughout the coverage period.
