This correctional facility operates a forensic outpatient clinic providing specialized psychiatric services to adult patients within a correctional framework. The facility includes multiple specialized program areas, including an Intermediate Care Program (ICP) designed for individuals with serious mental illness, as well as crisis, transitional, residential, and special housing units. Clinicians are expected to adhere to applicable regulatory standards and to operate with a high degree of professional independence.

The clinician will work full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, providing forensic outpatient psychiatric services across multiple program areas including the Intermediate Care Program (ICP), Resident Crisis Treatment Program (RCTP), Behavioral Health Unit (BHU), Therapeutic Transitional Supervision Unit (TTSU), Residential Rehabilitation Unit (RRU), and Special Housing Unit (SHU). Responsibilities include completing psychiatric evaluations such as 2PC and competency assessments, as well as Court Ordered Psychiatric Medications (COPM) evaluations. The clinician must be self-sufficient in administrative tasks typically performed by support staff and must demonstrate computer literacy including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word. Strong interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The role is conducted on a large campus; the position requires walking both indoors and outdoors, including stair navigation; reasonable accommodations available.
