Description
We are seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity at an outpatient surgery center in Hanover, Pennsylvania. This assignment offers consistent weekday scheduling with no call responsibilities and the opportunity to provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical specialties.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing anesthesia care for both pediatric and adult patients and be comfortable working in a collaborative anesthesia care model with a strong focus on orthopedic cases.

This opportunity is based in an outpatient surgical center featuring four operating rooms and a multi-specialty surgical environment.
The facility provides anesthesia services for a wide range of procedures, including high-volume orthopedic cases. Providers work within a medical direction model with a 1:3 anesthesia care ratio.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for pediatric and adult surgical patients.
- Manage anesthesia services for outpatient procedures across multiple specialties.
- Support orthopedic surgical cases, including high-volume orthopedic procedures.
- Collaborate within a medical direction anesthesia care model.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery according to patient needs.
- Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation.
- Provide anesthesia coverage for approximately 6–15 patients per day based on room assignment.
Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required.
- Active Pennsylvania CRNA license required.
- ACLS certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- PALS certification required.
- Board certification as a CRNA required.
- Must be able to work full-time weekday coverage.
- Credentialing timeframe is typically 90 days, with possible expedited credentialing options.
Working Hours
- Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
- Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Coverage: 40 hours per week
