Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience as a Nurse Practitioner or APRN
• Active Nurse Practitioner certification
• Board certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• APRN credential required
• State licensure required; compact license preferred
• Strong critical care and ICU knowledge, including assessment and management of medically complex patients
• Experience with medical ICU, neuro ICU, and cardiac ICU patients preferred
• Procedural experience with central line and arterial line placement preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice care for adult critical care and ICU patients
• Perform thorough assessments and manage acute, high-acuity clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians, intensivists, and interdisciplinary care teams to support treatment plans
• Support care in medical ICU, neuro ICU, and cardiac ICU environments
• Assist with procedures as clinically indicated, including central lines and arterial lines when applicable
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner
• Deliver responsive, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting
