• M - F schedule -- 2-week blocks with clinic and call
• 15 patient encounters expected per shift
• Average of 5 phone consults per shift
• Rounding required -- both inpatient and outpatient
• Hospital privileges required
• Ongoing coverage need
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
