Pay: $110,406 to $209,768 per year

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join a growing Interventional Radiology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Interventional Radiologists, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care while supporting a wide range of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a collaborative hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage patients before and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and coordinate ongoing patient care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
• Assist with inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support program growth.
• Perform procedures within the scope of practice and credentialing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA Certified.
• Active or eligible Virginia PA license.
• DEA certification or eligibility.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology, Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Hospital Medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
