About the Position

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist with advanced ERCP and EUS experience to provide inpatient coverage across three hospitals in Pennsylvania. This ongoing locum opportunity offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling with 24-hour call shifts, Epic EMR, and travel expenses covered. Candidates must be comfortable managing advanced GI procedures and inpatient consults.

Position Details

• Start ASAP, ongoing assignment
• 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 AM or 5:00 PM–5:00 PM)
• Daytime in-house coverage with overnight call (30-minute response from hotel)
• Approximately 14 shifts per month available
• EMR: Epic
• Procedures include: Colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, PEGs, Esophageal Varices & Stenting, and ERCPs
• Round on admitted patients
• Provide 24/7 GI call coverage
• Accept transfers from affiliated community hospitals
• Coordinate patient discharges as appropriate

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license required (IMLC considered)
• BLS, DEA
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
