Locums Family Practice Physician in The Dalles, Oregon - Full Scope Practice, Obstetrics

Practice the full spectrum of Family Medicine with Obstetrics, combining outpatient clinic, inpatient care, newborn nursery rounding, and obstetrical call in a single assignment.

Highlights

• Full-scope Family Medicine with Obstetrics
• Clinic, inpatient, and newborn nursery responsibilities
• Approximately 12 to 14 deliveries per month
• Average clinic volume of 16 or more patients per day

Practice & Cases

• Blend of outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage
• Obstetrical care with newborn nursery rounding during call
• Preventive care and comprehensive Family Medicine
• Surgical procedures included, with details provided during onboarding

Schedule

• Monday through Friday clinic, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Weekday clinic combined with 24-hour call
• Weekend 24-hour call coverage
• Approximately two hours of patient contact during call coverage

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Oregon medical license required
• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• NRP required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided
• Travel accommodations available for approved assignments
